Custom Stainless
Custom stainless steel CNC machining is the precision processing of stainless steel alloys manufactured to customer-defined specifications. Stainless steel is defined by its chromium content—minimum 10.5%—which forms a passive oxide layer providing exceptional corrosion resistance without coatings. The material is available in multiple families: austenitic grades, martensitic grades, and precipitation-hardening grades.
Custom stainless steel machining presents unique challenges: work hardening during cutting, gummy chip formation, and high cutting forces. We use specialized carbide tooling and high-pressure coolant to manage these challenges. Tolerances are held to ±0.02–0.05mm standard, with precision work at ±0.01mm. Every custom order is unique—your design, your tolerances, your material, your finish.
