Swiss CNC Turning

Swiss CNC turning uses a sliding headstock and guide bushing to support the workpiece close to the cutting point. Provides stability for long, slender parts with length-to-diameter ratios exceeding 10:1. Diameter capacity up to 32mm. Live tooling enables cross-holes, slots, and threads in a single cycle. Superior concentricity, fine surface finish, and complex parts in one setup. Medical instruments, electronics pins, and automotive fuel system components are typical applications. High-volume production with automated bar feeding.

Anodizing

• Clear Anodizing (Type II): Transparent protective oxide layer

• Hard Anodizing (Type III): Thick wear-resistant coating

• Color Anodizing: Black, gold, red, blue, and custom colors

Plating

• Electroless Nickel Plating: Uniform corrosion and wear protection

• Zinc Plating: Basic corrosion protection for steel parts

• Black Oxide: Mild corrosion protection with dark appearance

• Hard Chrome Plating: Wear-resistant coating for shafts and bearing surfaces

Mechanical Finishes

Coating

Application Guidelines

• Decorative visible parts: Brushing + clear anodizing

• Sealing surfaces: Fine surface finish with no coating (or PTFE coating)
