We manufactured a precision 6061 aluminum dual-adjustable locating fixture for a 3C electronics automation assembly line. This fixture features two independent adjustable slides with screw-driven mechanisms that control travel distance and parallelism — enabling precise dual-side datum positioning for component alignment in automated assembly. The fixture design combines high structural rigidity with fine adjustment capability, critical for maintaining repeatable positioning accuracy in 3C production environments.
The manufacturing process integrated precision milling, sub-assembly fabrication, and final assembly with functional verification. Each slide wAs Machined to tight tolerances with guide surfaces held to specified flatness and parallelism. Adjustment screws were precision-threaded with controlled pitch to achieve the required resolution for stroke adjustment. All components were black anodized (MIL-A-8625 Type II) for wear resistance and a professional uniform appearance. Post-assembly verification confirmed travel range, parallelism between slides, and positioning repeatability within specified limits.
